On September 21, the team from Kyungil University from Republic of Korea and the Chouaib Doukkali University team from Morocco, participants of the FISU University World Cup Football, visited Dalian Polytechnic University for a campus tour and exchange program. The university attached great importance to this international exchange activity, coordinating efforts across various departments with meticulous planning and thoughtful arrangements. Through rigorous attention to detail and warm, attentive service, the event was ensured to proceed smoothly and achieve remarkable results.
In the afternoon, the two teams arrived at the university. Guided by staff, the visiting delegations first went to the National Engineering Research Center for Marine Food. Through on-site visits to laboratories and detailed professional explanations, the team members gained an in-depth understanding of the university’s groundbreaking progress and innovative achievements in areas such as advanced processing of marine foods and value-added utilization of agricultural products. They expressed admiration for the scientific research strength, disciplinary characteristics, and practical contributions of the university’s food science program to industry development. Subsequently, the visiting teams proceeded to the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where they immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus. In the achievement exhibition area, the university showcased award-winning robots from the China University Robot Competition. The diverse innovation and entrepreneurship cases, along with well-equipped practical platforms, sparked widespread interest among the visitors. In-depth exchanges took place on topics such as fostering innovative thinking and managing practical projects, enhancing cross-cultural understanding，and building consensus on cooperation through the exchange of ideas.
After the tour, representatives of faculty and students from Dalian Polytechnic University held a symposium with the team from Chouaib Doukkali University in the academic lecture hall of the comprehensive building. Both sides engaged in discussions on innovative approaches to sports talent development and the development of campus sports culture, sharing their own practical experiences and distinctive practices in sports education and reform. The team members also spoke freely about their understanding of sports spirit based on their competition experiences, creating a lively and harmonious atmosphere during the interaction. The symposium further deepened mutual understanding between the two institutions, laying a solid foundation for regular sports exchanges and enhanced educational cooperation in the future.
